Dr. Rachel Burke Glass is a Georgia native. Originally from Gainesville, GA, she completed her undergraduate training in Biology and Cellular Biology at the University of Georgia. She attended medical school at the Georgia Campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee where she became interested in rural medicine and was awarded the Primary Care Award in her fourth year. She completed residency training at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah where she was the Chief Resident her third year. Dr. Glass has been practicing Pediatrics in Alma since 2012. Professionally she has a special interest in breastfeeding education, nutrition, and exercise. At home, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband, David, and her two children and two step-children.

Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care
Mimi currently holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Child Health, from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Thomas University. Prior to and while attending graduate school, Mimi was employed with Pediatria Healthcare for Kids where she provided care to special needs and medically fragile children. Mimi also has experience in Emergency Nursing, Geriatric Care, and Psychiatric Care of children and adolescents with eating disorders. Prior to joining the team at South Georgia Primary Care, she was employed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with Vidalia Children’s Center in Vidalia, GA. She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Mimi is originally from Madison, FL. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and traveling as often as she can.
